My Story
Olivia is providing talk therapy to adults and older adolescents (16+) through a CBT lens via TELEHEALTH sessions at this time. She attended The University of Georgia for undergraduate and graduate school, finishing her master's in professional counseling in 2011. She spent five years in college counseling centers and continues to love working with college students and young adults as they make major career and relationship choices. She is also passionate about working with women through prenatal/postpartum/infertility and with caregivers to build a home environment of safety, trust, and confidence. She served as a foster parent in Bulloch County for several years and was a consultant with Babies Can't Wait, an early intervention program for ages 0-3, helping parents support children who have experienced trauma using strategies from Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).
Olivia worked at Fresh Start Counseling from fall 2017 to fall 2021, when her family moved to Charleston, South Carolina. She is a certified PREPARE-ENRICH facilitator for couples and offers Christian faith-based counseling upon request. She is licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina, offering daytime telehealth sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays at this time. She’s usually chasing after her preschoolers on days when she's not seeing clients.
